A fantastic finishing hole with spectacular views of the town and surrounding hills which is sure to bring you back to Moffat. Long hitters can reach the green but a slight miss hit may easily land in the ditch guarding the front and fall foul of the "local rule" necessitating a donation to the Captain's Charity in the Clubhouse. Tiles on the Clubhouse roof bear witness to those who have tried to force a huge finishing drive but ended up with a wild slice. Many choose to lay up when a confident second shot over the ditch should yield a fairly easy par but beware of the very subtle borrows.
