This is the hardest hole on the course with a fairway in two sections.
The drive has to be straight and precise in length to give a reasonable chance of reaching the green in two.
A too long drive will find the rough at the end of the first half of the fairway, whilst one too short may tempt players to force a long second shot, which can easily find trouble left or right.
A deceptively sloping green can also add strokes to the score.
